Gulf-to-goat
About
Gulf to Goat follows a group of riders from the U.S. Naval Academy Class of 1975 as they cycle from Florida to Annapolis to mark their 50th class anniversary and raise money for charity. The journey spans weeks, states, and long days on the road, built around repetition, effort, and the relationships formed through shared movement.
I served as cinematographer on the project, filming alongside the riders over the course of three weeks. Production took place entirely on the road, with each day structured around the pace of the ride and the logistics of travel.
The project was produced by Tell Us Films, with post-production support from BS Creative. The documentary was filmed entirely on the road, with the visual structure shaped by the pace and duration of the ride.
